We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Commercial Concrete Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a Superintendent, you are a key to productivity and thus profitability. You will schedule, coordinate and supervise subcontractors’ and contractors’ field co-workers, which may involve supervising one or more trades, (i.e. laborers, carpenters, etc.) may coordinate several foremen in the case of largescale self-perform work.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of concrete construction methods and materials with experience in general contracting.

Our project experience ranges from industrial buildings and manufacturing facilities to multistory structural concrete projects in both the public and private sectors.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Plan and supervise field staff, including determining logistics plan, work with General Superintendent/PM to determine manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
- Resolve problems involving coordination and productivity, etc. as required.
- Be responsible for safety: monitor field personnel compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure that prevention and corrective measures are implemented. Perform documented safety inspections no less than weekly.
- Maintain contact with other parties and organizations to ensure that all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support craft activities and project schedule.
- Complete daily reports describing activities completed, critical conversations and issues, weather conditions, etc. Enter reports into project management software being utilized on site.
- Understand and manage the project critical path and all milestones.
- Actively participate and lead where appropriate weekly team, subcontractor, pre-construction and owner meetings.
- Monitor overall project quality. Ensure all inspections, and pre-pour checklists are performed.
What you need to qualify:
- Minimum of five years' construction experience in construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures.
- Thorough understanding of industry practices and standards
